To give students from under-represented groups at universities across Canada a genuine chance to take part in health and medical research through events and a flagship Summer Research Program that doesn't require them to already have the connections or background research assumes.

Why we started COUHR
Health and medical research shapes the decisions that affect all of us, yet the path into it isn't always clear or equally open. COUHR started as a way to change that, connecting students with real opportunities instead of leaving them to find their own way in.
Since then, we've grown into an ongoing initiative built around events, a flagship Summer Research Program, and a community of students and researchers working together.
